We are Luca and Sabrina Tanini , the Directors of Dreolino .

This is our company, our wines, and our home.

We are directors and colleagues, but brother and sister, first and foremost.

For nearly a hundred years, every bottle has carried a story: ours. Every glass embodies the spirit of the land, the strength of generations, and the elegance of Chianti Rufina.

Our roots

Founded by Gino Tanini in 1939, the winery began as a small family dream.
Today, in its third and fourth generation, Dreolino is a story that continues: the passion passed down, the daily dedication, the pride of bringing Chianti Rufina to the world.

"Dreolino" was the nickname of our grandfather Gino, son of Andrea, known as "Drea": ​​his miniature image, the authentic reflection of a legacy. A simple and true name, which today embodies a world of values.

The territory: Chianti Rufina

A unique corner of Tuscany, the smallest and highest sub-zone of Chianti: just 5% of the denomination , but with an unmistakable character.
Marly soils , sun-kissed hills and a microclimate that gives structured, elegant and long-lived wines .

Main grape variety: Sangiovese .
Alongside him: Colorino, Canaiolo , Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Tradition that lives on

From the first winery (located in Rufina, on Corso della Nave), we have preserved the original door and one of the first barrels: today restored, they welcome visitors to our tasting room.
A living bridge between yesterday and today, where guests become part of our history.

The winery began with our grandfather Gino, flourished with our father Raffaello, and continues with us and our children. In every glass of Dreolino, you don't just taste wine: you savor an intense and ongoing story.

Awards and recognition have accompanied us along our long journey, but the true goal is to continue transforming our work into emotions to share.
